Objective of the course
Become an Assistant Instructor in Urban Disaster Rescue (FRD)
Are you interested in working as an Assistant Instructor in Urban Disaster Rescue or do you want to start your professional career in FRD and need to gain experience to participate in an Urban Disaster Rescue Instructor Training course? Either way, the Assistant Instructor training program is for you! Becoming an Assistant Instructor is a great way to gain experience to prepare for a professional career or simply discover what the job of an instructor is all about! If you intend to enroll in an ITC (Instructor Training Course), the Assistant Instructor is qualified to:

Manage the organization and maintenance of equipment;

Teach one student at a time up to level 1 (under the supervision of a master instructor);

Supervise the safety of urban rescue operations from level 2/I (under the supervision of a master instructor);

Assisting a Master or Senior Instructor in Urban Search and Rescue Operations (under the supervision of the course coordinator).

Prerequisite: Must be an Urban Search and Rescue Operator
Course Description: Generally taught concurrently with any N1 Urban Rescue training course or specific course. Covers all the same knowledge and technical field skills over 2 days. Participants in the operations area learn to assist Master Operator or R1 Trainer technicians.
